The Challenge

Medical students need to practice diagnosing patients, but you cannot practice on real people. The client wanted an AI that could play the role of a patient — presenting symptoms, responding to questions, reacting to treatment decisions — all while staying medically accurate.

Our Approach

We tuned the RAG pipeline to pull from real medical literature so the AI patient responses are actually clinically accurate. Built admin tools so professors can upload PDF scenarios. Added a leaderboard and auto-scoring so students can see how they compare. Also sped up the AI responses with better caching.
